Junior Fund Regulatory Lawyer (M/F)

We continually recruit and develop outstanding legal talent in order to maintain and strengthen our ability to deliver to our clients high-quality work. For our Luxembourg Investment Management & Funds practice, we are currently looking for a Junior Fund Regulatory Lawyer to strengthen our team.

Our multidisciplinary fund team represents sponsors and investors in a broad range of (alternative) asset classes from around the world, such as private equity, fund of funds, infrastructure, real estate, as well as private debt.

 

Your responsibilities:

 

  • Advising regulated entities (such as AIFMs or regulated funds) in relation to regulatory requirements and communication with the relevant supervisory authorities;
  • Advising on licenses requirements;
  • Drafting and reviewing services agreements;
  • Advising on anti-money laundering and terrorism financing related matters;
  • Coordinating the relationships with external services providers of the funds.

What we require:

 

  • You hold a Master’s degree in law (or equivalent);
  • You are registered to the Luxembourg Bar;
  • You are familiar with the Luxembourg regulations at investment fund level (UCITS, SIFs, RAIFs, SICARs,…), at fund manager level (AIFMD, SFDR…) and at investor level (PRIIPS KID, …) or asset level (AML on assets) and are intrigued by existing and upcoming financial regulations;
  • You are fluent in English. Additional languages skills are considered an advantage;
  • You are a team player, proactive and have excellent communication skills;
  • You are organised, flexible and able to manage several projects concurrently;
  • You have excellent writing skills;
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of the firm’s affairs and client information; and
  • Good knowledge of "MS Office" tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, etc.).
