The mission/task of the Integrity Officer is:

  • to ensure that there is firm wide and long-term awareness on integrity with the goal of creating a socially safe environment within Loyens & Loeff;
  • to check integrity within Loyens & Loeffs’ values, internal policies, processes, rules, decisions, but also social norms and beliefs;
  • to support the organization in managing the integrity risks and embedding and improving integrity arrangements in all levels and structures within the organization by providing advice, challenging decisions and monitoring;
  • to be a trusted function to operate an effective integrity program that supports Loyens & Loeffs’ firm-wide strategic objectives.

And further on what are you going to do as an Integrity Office:

  • responsible for guiding and giving follow-up on incoming incidents related to integrity;
  • audit the reporting landscape on a regular basis;
  • develop and update firm-wide policies, procedures and protocols related to integrity (e.g. Whistleblowing policy, Complaint policy, Investigations protocol, Sanctions protocol);
  • monitor compliance with norms, values, policies and procedures.

This vacancy suits you, because you:

  • are an analytic, pragmatic, independent person, a good listener and a problem solver by nature; 
  • have a strong affinity and interest within the field of diversity and inclusion and all aspects of a safe work environment;
  • have a minimum of 10 years work experience in an independent role reporting to (a) board (member);
  • have your Master degree in Law, Psychology/Business Administration or solid relevant professional experience;
  • have experience in building new roles within an organization;
  • are a mediator and a networker by nature;
  • want to boost diversity & inclusivity ;
  • used to working with people from different cultures, preferably having  experience in an international environment;
  • have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and preferably Dutch, French, German or another language;
  • have well developed stakeholder management and communications skills;
