Junior Procurement Advisor

We recently set up a centralised Procurement office to establish an efficient and robust source-to-pay process for the sourcing of goods and services within Loyens & Loeff. We are looking for a Junior Procurement Advisor to join the team to work across the entire source to pay process, which would include evaluation and analysis of historical spend, working alongside other team members to conduct RFX and negotiate with suppliers, managing contracts and building strong working relationships with internal stakeholders. This is an exciting role in a small team with the potential to make significant changes to how we source our goods and services across Loyens & Loeff.

A broad skill set is a must, as is the ability to deal with a large number of stakeholders based across our home markets of the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Cleaning and analyzing historic spend, drawing conclusions and noting trends.
  • Supporting and working alongside the procurement team and local buyers to harmonize central sourcing and local purchasing.
  • Participating in the team negotiating pricing, commercial terms and contracts (with support from our legal team).
  • Contract Management

This vacancy is something for you, because

  • You have between 1 and 3 years of experience in a procurement role;
  • You have a Bachelor or Master degree;
  • You have relevant procurement qualifications;
  • You have excellent communication skills in English and Dutch;
  • You are flexible, proactive, accurate and analytical;
  • You have strong interpersonal skills
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Word
  • You take the initiative and are a self-starter, able to work either individually or as part of a team;
  • You are ready for a new challenge in your career!

Application procedure

  • Step one
