Introduction Academy

Your onboarding journey at Loyens & Loeff begins with a one-week introduction programme, designed for all junior associates, junior tax advisers, tax compliance advisers, junior civil law notaries, and transaction lawyers.

Held at our offices in both Amsterdam and Rotterdam, this practical and inspiring week is all about getting to know the firm — and each other. You’ll be introduced to our culture, mission, and values, and receive hands-on training to prepare you for your first day. From speed reading to presentation skills, the sessions are designed to equip you with useful tools from the start.

And it’s not all work — social activities throughout the week help you build connections and feel at home.

‘Beroepsopleiding’

After the introductory period, you’ll dive into your chosen field — whether as a tax compliance adviser, tax adviser, transaction lawyer, or candidate civil law notary. This is where your professional journey truly begins.
As a junior associate, you’ll begin your journey with the Loyens & Loeff Lawyers Academy, following a two-month introductory programme. During this time, you’ll start handling cases independently and gain hands-on litigation experience — all under the guidance of seasoned professionals who are there to support your growth. After the Lawyers Academy, you will start the “”beroepsopleiding”” within your practice area.”

Client & Business Development

The markets we operate in are evolving rapidly — and so are our clients’ needs. To build strong, lasting relationships and continue delivering exceptional value, we believe in empowering our people to grow in client and business development.

That’s why we offer the Loyens & Loeff Client & Business Development Programme. It’s not just about ‘sales’ — it’s about becoming more proactive, enhancing your impact, and strengthening collaboration across teams. Personal Growth
