The Future Lawyer Day is all about uncovering answers to lingering questions and offering you a sneak peek into the working of our firm in terms of culture, business, clients, cases and the day-to-day work. You will have the opportunity to meet several of our Associates and Partners, take part in interesting workshops, build connections and engage for the future.

You will get the opportunity to ask questions to the Partners of our different practices.
Besides the workshops, you will also get an office tour. Afterwards, a networking drink is planned to wrap up the day.

Dit ga je doen
Ter versterking van ons team zoeken we een receptionist. Jij bent gemiddeld 20 uur per week beschikbaar en bij afwezigheid van collega’s flexibel in te zetten. De volgende werkzaamheden zijn onderdeel van de functie:
Ontvangen en aanmelden van cliënten en bezoekers;
Aannemen en doorverbinden van telefoongesprekken;
Het aannemen en verwerken van reserveringen en zorgdragen voor een gastvrij en representatief vergadercentrum;
Koeriersstukken ontvangen en registreren zowel als het aanmaken van koerierszendingen.

Je bent representatief, servicegericht en zorgt ervoor dat iedereen zich direct welkom voelt. Met jouw professionele houding en uitstraling ben je een belangrijk visitekaartje voor onze organisatie. Je werkt graag samen in een hecht team, hebt oog voor detail en denkt in oplossingen. Daarnaast communiceer je vloeiend en professioneel, zowel in het Nederlands als in het Engels. Bij voorkeur heb je ervaring binnen een zakelijke dienstverlening. Woonachtig in (de omgeving van) Rotterdam is een pré.
De vaste werkdagen zijn de ene week dinsdag en donderdag en de andere week dinsdag, donderdag en vrijdag. Daarnaast ben je flexibel inzetbaar bij afwezigheid van collega’s, bijvoorbeeld tijdens verlof of ziekte.

Wie is het team?
Je komt te werken op de afdeling Facility Management van ons kantoor in Rotterdam. Deze afdeling bestaat uit het office management, de receptie, de huishoudelijke dienst, de postkamer en de repro. Met zo’n 30 collega’s zorgen zij ervoor dat het gebouw representatief is, de collega’s zo goed mogelijk hun werk en activiteiten kunnen uitvoeren en gasten zich welkom voelen. Het receptieteam bestaat uit vier collega’s. De sfeer is collegiaal en hands-on, waarbij iedereen bijdraagt aan een prettige en goed georganiseerde werkomgeving. Je rapporteert aan de Office Manager.

We are currently seeking a mid-level corporate lawyer with excellent academic background, relevant experience in the Luxembourg market and fluent spoken and written English and French.

- You have 2 to 5 years of experience preferably in international law firms in Luxembourg
- You have trained and qualified as a Luxembourg lawyer or are registered on Liste IV of the Luxembourg bar;

Voor het Tax Knowledge Centre (TKC) zoeken wij een ervaren fiscalist die zich wil richten op vaktechnische uitdagingen, kennismanagement en innovatie. Deze functie biedt een aantrekkelijk alternatief voor fiscalisten die hun inhoudelijke expertise verder willen verdiepen buiten de adviespraktijk, of een mooie uitdaging voor professionals die al werkzaam zijn in een kennis- of vaktechnische omgeving.
Als Professional Support Lawyer assisteer je de fiscale praktijk bij complexe vraagstukken, volg je relevante ontwikkelingen, bouw je aan het wetenschappelijk profiel van de fiscale praktijk en zorg je ervoor dat kennis efficiënt wordt ontwikkeld, ontsloten en toegepast. Daarnaast lever je een actieve bijdrage aan innovatie-initiatieven, waaronder de inzet van AI, GenAI en andere technologische oplossingen ter verbetering van kennisprocessen en dienstverlening.
De omvang van het dienstverband wordt in onderling overleg vastgesteld.
Dit ga je doen
Als Professional Support Lawyer binnen het TKC ben je nauw betrokken bij actuele fiscale ontwikkelingen en de vertaling daarvan naar de praktijk. Je werkt intensief samen met collega's binnen het TKC, de vaktechnische commissies en de collega’s in de adviespraktijk.
Je zorgt voor de verdere versterking van het TKC als vaktechnisch kennis- en innovatiecentrum en houd je onder meer bezig met:
het signaleren, analyseren en duiden van relevante ontwikkelingen in nationale en Europese wetgeving, jurisprudentie, beleid en literatuur;
het continueren en uitbouwen van ons wetenschappelijk profiel (bijvoorbeeld door het schrijven van artikelen, zelf of met anderen, en het begeleiden van medewerkers bij het schrijven van artikelen).
het beantwoorden van vaktechnische vragen en fungeren als sparringpartner bij complexe fiscale vraagstukken;
het (verder) ontwikkelen en uitdragen van expertise op specifieke fiscale onderwerpen;
het ondersteunen van vaktechnische commissies en bijdragen aan analyses, standpunten en publicaties;
het verzamelen, structureren en beheren van knowhow;
het ontwikkelen en onderhouden van modeldocumenten en standaardteksten;
het verzorgen van lezingen, opleidingen, trainingen en kennisbijeenkomsten, waaronder bijdragen aan het fiscale onderwijs voor startende fiscalisten; en
het initiëren en ondersteunen van innovatieprojecten op het gebied van juridische technologie, AI, GenAI, en automatisering.
Het Tax Knowledge Centre
Het Tax Knowledge Centre vormt samen met de vaktechnische commissies het vaktechnische hart van de fiscale praktijk van Loyens & Loeff. Het team bestaat uit hoogleraren, ervaren fiscalisten en knowhow professionals.
Het TKC werkt nauw samen met de vaktechnische commissies, ondersteunt de praktijk bij nationale en internationale fiscale ontwikkelingen en fungeert als klankbord voor complexe vraagstukken. Dit doen wij door het ontwikkelen van knowhow, het opstellen van analyses en memo’s, het verzorgen van opleidingen en het stimuleren van kennisdeling binnen de organisatie. Daarnaast speelt het een belangrijke rol bij innovatie-initiatieven die bijdragen aan efficiënt kennismanagement en hoogwaardige dienstverlening.
Wie zoeken wij?
Je bent een inhoudelijk sterke fiscalist met belangstelling voor vaktechniek, kennismanagement en innovatie. Daarnaast heb je een brede interesse voor de fiscale vakgebieden, waaronder de vennootschapsbelasting, bronbelastingen, indirecte belastingen en/of Europees fiscaal recht en combineert analytische scherpte met een proactieve instelling en haalt energie uit het ontwikkelen, structureren en delen van kennis.
Daarnaast beschik je over:
minimaal zes jaar relevante fiscale ervaring;
sterke analytische en redactionele vaardigheden;
het vermogen complexe fiscale vraagstukken te vertalen naar heldere en praktisch toepasbare inzichten;
affiniteit met opleidingen, kennisoverdracht en vaktechnische ondersteuning;
ervaring met of sterke belangstelling voor AI, waaronder GenAI;
interesse in automatisering en procesverbetering;
het vermogen kennis te vertalen naar praktische tools, modellen en technologische oplossingen;
uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden in het Nederlands en Engels;
een proactieve, ondernemende en samenwerkingsgerichte instelling.

We are currently seeking an experienced tax associate with excellent academic background, relevant experience in the Luxembourg market and fluent spoken and written English and French.
Your profile:
- 4 to 7 years of relevant experience in Corporate Taxation in Luxembourg, preferably in international law firms.
- You are fluent in written and spoken English and French.
- Additional languages such as German would be considered an advantage;

KYC Officer – CDI
Within Loyens & Loeff you will be part of the KYC team. You will deliver a high quality and proactive contribution to the compliance team, with an efficient client onboarding and KYC reviews.
As a member of the KYC department, you will be part of the global compliance team of Loyens & Loeff, you will work in close collaboration with your colleagues. You will report to the Head of Compliance Luxembourg.
Your responsibilities:
- You will compile and control the KYC documentation for the purposes of client identification and verification according to the firm’s client acceptance guidelines, and its internal procedures and processes;
- You will liaise with personal assistants to ensure the compliance documentation is completed in a timely and accurate manner;
- You will conduct thorough background checks on new and existing clients;
- You will verify customer information and documentation for accuracy;
- You will maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all KYC activities;
- You will prepare and submit reports on KYC findings to senior management.
- You will assist in the development and implementation of KYC policies and procedures;
- You will conduct periodic reviews of existing client accounts;
- You will contribute to the preparation of inquiries from regulatory authorities and auditors;
- You will participate in internal and external audits related to compliance;
- You will ensure timely completion of KYC reviews and updates;
- You will identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies at the local Luxembourg office and you will collaborate with the colleagues from other home markets and other departments;
- You will maintain confidentiality of sensitive client information and secure storage of all clients’ data;
- You will support the onboarding process for new clients;
- You will ensure that all KYC documentation is stored securely and is easily accessible.
Your profile:
- You hold a Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree with, ideally, a background in Law, Economics or Business Administration;
- You have at least 3 years of previous experience in the compliance field, allowing you to autonomously perform a simplified or standard due diligence;
- You have analytical and synthesis skills, communicate in a structured way and are able to convey your point of view in a convincing way;
- You have excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French;
- You are stress resistant, have high ethical standards and are a dynamic team player and you have a positive attitude combined with a customer-focused and service-minded approach;
- You have a good working knowledge of MS Office and you are open to change, innovation and to the opportunities offered by new technologies

Internal Communications and Events Adviser – CDI
The role
The Internal Communications and Events Adviser is responsible for driving internal communications and employee engagement initiatives for our Luxembourg office. The role combines strategic communications advice, stakeholder management, content development and event leadership to support business priorities, strengthen office culture and enhance employee engagement.
The Adviser serves as the primary local communications contact in Luxembourg and works closely with local leadership, partners and senior stakeholders, as well as colleagues across the wider Corporate Communications team in Amsterdam, Brussels and Zurich. The role requires a hands-on professional who can move seamlessly between advising stakeholders, developing communications strategies and delivering high-quality communications and events.
Main responsibilities
Internal Communications
- Lead the planning, development and delivery of internal communications for the Luxembourg office, including local newsletters, leadership communications, employee updates and tailored firmwide announcements.
- Draft, edit and publish news items, intranet content, event recaps, announcements and other employee-facing communications.
- Maintain and further develop local communication channels, including Luxembourg intranet pages and digital screens.
- Advise partners, management and other stakeholders on communication approaches, messaging and employee engagement initiatives.
- Support the preparation of leadership presentations, key messages and employee communication materials.
- Gather Luxembourg input and ensure strong local participation in firmwide campaigns, communications programmes and thematic initiatives.
- Ensure communication activities align with the firm's overall strategy, tone of voice, quality standards and brand guidelines.
External Communications Support
- Coordinate selected external-facing communications activities for Luxembourg in collaboration with the wider Corporate Communications team.
- Support local visibility initiatives, including social media content, event-related communications, photography and video opportunities.
- Help identify opportunities to showcase Luxembourg expertise, culture and achievements through appropriate communication channels.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers where required.
- Ensure all communications comply with branding, editorial and compliance requirements.
All external communication remains subject to established approval processes and oversight by the Corporate Communications team.
Events and Employee Engagement
- Lead the planning, organisation and delivery of internal events and employee engagement initiatives, including office gatherings, onboarding activities, town halls, celebrations, team events and other internal programmes.
- Develop project plans, timelines and budgets and coordinate all logistical aspects of events.
- Manage invitations, communications, suppliers, venues, catering and event materials.
- Oversee pre-event and post-event communications and ensure consistent participant experiences.
- Act as the primary on-site contact during events and address operational issues as required.
- Work closely with Office Management, HR and other stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of initiatives.
Strategic Collaboration and Stakeholder Management
- Act as an active member of the international Corporate Communications team and contribute to firmwide projects, campaigns and initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with partners, management, HR, Office Management and other stakeholders across the Luxembourg office.
- Represent Luxembourg communications perspectives and provide local insight within firmwide discussions and projects.
- Contribute to the continuous development of communications standards, ways of working and best practices across the firm.
- Share communications expertise and support colleagues involved in communications activities where appropriate.
Planning, Reporting and Operational Excellence
- Develop and maintain communication plans, editorial calendars and event roadmaps.
- Monitor communication activities and provide reporting and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Maintain planning tools, shared resources and internal processes to support effective delivery.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and suppliers in line with internal procedures and budgets.
- Ensure continuity and consistency across communications and events activities.
