How long does the recruitment process take?
We will do our best to get you through the whole recruitment process in one month.

In what language should I write my application ?
You can write your application in Dutch or otherwise in English.

How far in advance should I apply for an internship position?
The sooner, the better! We recommend to apply at least 6 months before the start date of your internship. Sometimes there are last minute spots available. Contact one of our recruiters to see if this is possible.

My application has not been selected for an interview. Can I apply again?
Yes, of course! We would recommend you to wait a few months before applying again.

How long does it approximately take to receive an answer on an application?
It takes approximately one weeks to hear from us. Our HR team will contact you as soon as possible. Should you have any questions in the meantime, you can always contact us via e-mail or give us a call. We are happy to answer your questions.

Why is the pre employment screening part of the procedure?
The integrity of Loyens & Loeff as a firm and of our employees is essential. Screening of our employees is therefore part of the recruitment process. The screening will be based on the role you will fulfil at Loyens & Loeff.
Your employment contract shall only be effective under the suspensive condition that the screening has been completed fully and positively.

I did not study Dutch law, can I become a lawyer at Loyens & Loeff?
Although Loyens & Loeff has a significant number of offices around the world, we practice the laws of the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland only; our tax advisers and attorneys at law are therefore admitted to the bars of at least one of these jurisdictions and their university education has been tailored for them to qualify for admission to at least one of these bars.
